New Gluing and Folding Machinery

We strive to stay at the top of our game by always investing in additional machinery that brings efficiency and quality to the production of our client's packaging products. Case in point is the recent purchase of 2 pieces of gluing and folding equipment.

The Bobst Plasma Treater is a portable device that uses high voltage electricity to superheat air, breaking atoms into super-charged ions. This stream of ionized gas is then directed through a nozzle which is positioned, immediately prior to glue application, at the flap that will become the glue joint of the carton. The ions break down the surface tension of the substrate, essentially creating a "roughing" effect which allows it to hold more adhesive, thereby creating a much stronger glue bond. End result better packaging strength.

The second is a Bobst Alpina 110 A3 4/6 Corner with a Gyrobox pivoting module and Crash-Lock module. The Bobst Alpina A3 110 Matic folder-gluer is designed for producing straightline, autolock bottom, and 4/6 corner cartons. It handles a minimum size of 66 mm and a maximum of ll00 mm.

The machine's key features include:

  • Feeder equipped with its own drive system, vibrator, vacuum assist, and a pneumatic quick belt movement system.

  • Accu feed alignment adjustable for left or right side.

  • High-speed pre-fold section for both left and right sides.

  • Kombo fold two-station section with a 4/6 corner rotary back folding system.

  • HHS upper cold gluing system with 8 channels and 4 guns, along with lower left side disc gluing for side seam applications, optimized for high-speed production.

  • Final fold section featuring a central belt for consistent product control, a pneumatic lift for easy operation, nip rollers, and variable speed squaring.

  • Bobst Cube system for product counting, with a kicker and press control.

  • Precision press station for product stacking, including pneumatic pressure adjustment.

Our range of equipment allows us to continue to serve the needs of our print finishing customers, whose packaging is prepared for use in the cosmetic, food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other industries. Let us know how we can help you by contacting us today.
